FORT POLK -- U.S. military forces may be transitioning away from being front-line fighters in Afghanistan, but the ability to shoot, move and communicate always will be a necessity for the Army.
Noncommisioned officers from the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum in upstate New York recently oversaw the training of 28 NCOs from Fort Polk's Patriot Brigade in the Mountain Leader Advanced Rifle Marksmanship course.
