Sometimes the fast just end up going faster.
Such is the case with Mercedes-Ben's SLS AMG. The supercar - offered in roadster and gull-winged coupe models - was already plenty quick, capable of bolting to 60 miles per hour from a stop in 3.8 seconds. But now, with an increase of 20 horsepower to 583, it's 0.1 seconds faster.
Improvements to the car, which was demonstrated on a race track about 100 miles north of Los Angeles, were deemed significant enough that it's been given a new name for 2013: the SLS AMG GT. ...
