N'HAMPTON: What happens to school commuters - including superintendent - when weather closes CBBT?

MACHIPONGO - Northampton County's school superintendent lives in the Hampton Roads area, as do two principals, two assistant principals, six teachers and one central office staffer.

But Superintendent Walter Clemons said there is no formal policy in place during situations when closures of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel might be impossible for the district's highest-ranking staff members to make the commute to work, or back home.
