Rain and snow set to end late, high winds and flooding still possible Thursday

SALISBURY - While snow is falling in some places on the Lower Shore right now, National Weather Service officials predict more winds and more flooding for Thursday.

The first leg of storm punished the Delmarva Peninsula today, with winds and rain causing havoc in the area.

Delaware's Route 1 was closed in both directions at the Indian River Bridge because of flooding in the roadway from today's storm. The Bay Bridge in Maryland also was also closed due to high winds. ...
