Worcester drug sting leads to 12 arrests

The Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team said 12 people were charged in an ongoing undercover drug investigation.

The CET team - consisting of the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the Ocean City Police Department Narcotics Unit, the Maryland State Police and the Pocomoke City Police Department - had worked undercover for several months, making drug buys and following leads.

The investigation began after complaints to local law enforcement agencies by citizens of Pocomoke City, Snow Hill and Berlin regarding drug activity in those communities. ...
