MILTON: New Jersey man charged with attempted murder

MILTON - A New Jersey man was charged with attempted murder and robbery after allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend after an altercation.

According to Milton police, 42-year-old Tyrone Majette of Jersey City, N.J. went to his ex-girlfriend's place of employment just after 12: 30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, on Union Street near H.O. Brittingham Elementary School seeking money. An argument ensued and he allegedly punched the victim on the head, knocking her to the ground.
