Good news for Salisbury and Wicomico County residents on two fronts. Not only has Maryland approved the re-designation and expansion of the Salisbury-Wicomico Enterprise Zone, which provides businesses that locate within it income and property tax credits in exchange for creating and retaining jobs. Statewide, during the past 10 years, Maryland's 30 enterprise zones received $27.4 million in property tax credits and received a return of $2.38 billion in capital investment.
