A Locustville woman who admitted to taking more than $100,000 from a Cape Charles real estate business will spend two years in prison, a judge ruled Monday.
Shelly B. Renas, 46, began taking money from Chesapeake Properties in 2004 and continued doing so until her crimes were uncovered when she failed to come to work in late June 2010, according to Chesapeake Commonwealth's Attorney Nancy Parr, a special prosecutor for the case.
