The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is offering a great way to start 2013 off on the right foot. State Parks across Maryland will be participating in First Day Hike's, a program sponsored by America's State Parks coalition that offers both families and individuals the opportunity to explore nature through free guided tours on New Year's Day.
