It's that time again, when we usher out the tired old year and welcome the hope and promise of a brand new one. Having just completed a contentious election year, the promise of 2013 includes cessation of political hostilities for at least 12 months. Well, maybe not promise, but we can wish, can't we?
If we could outlaw political, partisan and ideological divisions for the duration of 2013, what might we see?
A renewed sense of national unity might pervade our landscape, from sea to shining sea. ...
