This weekend, the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center is hosting more than 250 area dentists and oral health care specialists in the Lower Shore's first Mission of Mercy free dental clinic. The two-day event ends today.
It offers free dental care to adults who are uninsured or otherwise unable to obtain dental care through their own means. The Eastern Shore Dental Association has sponsored the event, raising funds to cover the $120,000 cost, with help from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
