Dozens of kids will be playing soccer for the first time this spring in hopes of gaining more experience on the soccer field in Upward Sports, a league focused more on a friendly, positive sports environment than win-at-all-cost competition.
"I want to provide a sports atmosphere where the kids can stay active, find a love for soccer and shape a skill for the game," Jared Willimen, pastor of Crosse Point Church of the Nazarene, said.
