State police detectives are investigating a trooper-involved shooting that has left a 42-year-old man described as a "suspect" critically wounded near Lewes.
The incident unfolded about 1 p.m. in the 19600 block of Plantations Road just north of Cedar Grove Road across from the Sandy Brae development in the greater Lewes area.
Few details have been released other than the wounded victim was taken to Beebe Medical Center in critical condition, Sgt. Paul Shavack said. ...
