Michael B. Kitz-Miller: The key is not regulation, but individual rights

I have been going back and forth regarding the issue of gun control, until recently.

In the service, I qualified as expert with numerous weapons, including the M-1, M-14 and M-16 which we field tested, so I have some knowledge of weapons and their use. The assault weapon in question for government control and used at Sandy Hook is the AR-15, the semi-automatic, civilian version of the M-16.
