Although conflicting information is circulating about the state of the overall economy, in Maryland and across the nation, one thing seems clear: As we emerge from the dark depths of severe recession, both a clear vision as well as concrete ideas about how to achieve it are needed if we are to avoid making some of the same mistakes that led to the crash in the first place.
