OPINION: Patronize local businesses

Once those who regularly patronized Zia's Italian Grill - and some who dined there occasionally - learned last week that the locally owned and operated eatery had closed its doors forever, there was some disappointment expressed about the loss of this North Salisbury Boulevard icon. Others said they wish the announcement had been made before the doors were shuttered, because they would like to have eaten there one last time.
