Parents' love can be taken for granted until you become one

I tell my kids all the time that I love them, but I know they don't really get it.

There is no way in this world they can understand the depth, breadth and fullness of my love for them. I don't think there is a love that can compare to the love a parent feels for a child. So there is no way a child can understand that love until they become a parent themselves.

(By the way, I am in no hurry for that to happen.) ...
