Peninsula Regional Medical Center is well-recognized as the largest medical center on Maryland's Lower Shore, centrally located in downtown Salisbury. It is also a regional trauma center serving the Delmarva Peninsula. What is less well-known is that in its original certification of incorporation dating all the way back to 1897 and affirmed with an amendment in 1963, PRMC's mission is to serve the medical needs of the entire peninsula, including Delaware.
